About Us

Standing Stone Designs (SSD) is a small but growing company owned and operated by Ernest Black and tapping a pool of talented independent programmers and designers. Online since 1997, SSD has provided web design and webmastering for a number of clients.

Ernest Black is a web developer, writer and photographer who until recently was Webmaster at Huge Universe, Inc., which provides the largest family of pro audio web sites and online communities on the Web, including flagship site ProSoundWeb.com and LiveSoundInt.com, the website for Live Sound International Magazine. He is currently Webmaster for the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Chiropractic, and Susan Beere. Prior to working for Huge Universe, he served as Webmaster at Idiom Technology, Inc. and Applix, Inc.. Armed with an MA in English and Creative Writing, Ernest has taught English and Humanities at Fisher College, Suomi College, and Colorado State University.
